I encountered some of the worst attitude and rudeness recently by the promoter of the Stampaway Convention in Cincinatti that I told her that even though I had traveled 6 1/2 hours to attend a convention that I had been hearing about for years, I would not come back because of it. Her answer to me "That doesn't matter because 2200 other people will".

I believe that you should treat people as you would want to be treated. You must be more gracious when you are in the service industry or soon, you will turn away all of your businnes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12387810.post-24079509175654076582007-08-30T20:29:00.000-07:002007-08-30T20:29:00.000-07:00Kim. I thought of your post immediately, and it helped take the sting out of the message, and I will most certainly respond in a professional and kind manner. Because *I* am nice. I don't mind saying that while I know nothing about this particular situation, this kind of thing is precisely why I am extremely reluctant to actually give designing and selling a go. Without having a much better idea of what is, and is not, going on I refuse to actually try it out and quite possibly get creamed. Unfortunately, the places where I can find out about what is happening (and therefore what to avoid) are closed to me because I am not a designer who sells. Catch-22 for me and I bet a lot of others who aspire to design and sell as well.Mohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11657297164685986013noreply@blogger.com
