Father's Day and Teacher Gift Ideas

Father's Day is just around the corner! It's sometimes hard to scrap something for dad that is useful. I have scrapped pages to slip into frames for my husband's office. You can also scrap mini pages (like 4x4) to slip into photo clips to stand up on his desk. If you've got a photo printer or a great ink jet or laser that you can miniaturize your photos with, try a 4x4 page - they are super fast and really kind of fun!

Also a
photo cube is manly enough to sit on his desk. I prefer the clear plastic ones that you slip the layouts inside of. They are better protected.

Also, you can make some fun photo gifts. Check out this cool luggage tag by
Rocket Life! Click on the link to download the quick software and start creating - there's no obligation and you can use your digital scrapbook stuff! They are under $10 each!

They also have key tags and magnets (great for the side of the filing cabinet). They are also well under $10 each!

These are much more interesting and useful than the standard mug he probably has 6 of already. But, if you want a mug, you can get one, too! Heck you can get t-shirts, puzzles, coasters, etc. for him to use at work.

There is plenty of time to come up with something special for Dad! Scrap something special for the special man in your life!!

And, while you're at it - start thinking about end-of-the-year teacher gifts, too! Teachers love fun-stuff! This is an altered purse-sized date-book from the dollar store I made for a teacher a couple of years ago. It has a clear cover that you just slip on after you alter the front. She loved it! Just make sure it's not too chunky or the cover will be hard to get back on without tearing it out.
