Scrapbook Soap Opera...

Wow! The "she should be ashamed of herself" founder of the now defunct Scrap in a Snap Direct Sales company just resurfaced over at 2 Peas in a Bucket. I can't believe she would show her face (even though it's hidden behind a screen name) in public. She's apparently been there for a while but just "outed" herself (although I think SHE thinks no one is smart enough to figure out exactly what she's talking about). It's in a Coffee Talk thread in The Pub. She talks about all the lies told about her when her VERY LARGE scrapbook company closed and she ended up in bankruptcy. Golly, I can't believe all those former consultants are ALL lying about you... I need smilies here because right now I need a big fat *ROLLING EYES* smilie! I heard that she owed one of her regional directors something like $20k when the company folded.

If you aren't sure what the heck I am talking about - you can read this blog for info: www.scrapbooklegalaction.blogspot.com

The thing that burns me the most is after the very large business train-wreck, the pending lawsuits, and apparently, a criminal investigation for credit card fraud by the Lehi, UT Police Department, she gets a job as the Creative Director at a MAJOR scrapbook catalog company. What a great world - you can completely ruin your own company and destroy the businesses of several hundred women and then STILL get to work in the scrapbook industry in a job most of us would love to have. It makes me shake my head...

I don't believe she has. It's really unfortunate that she is getting "rewarded" for her behavior in the form of a great job at a large company.
