National Scrapbook Day at ScrapBiz

It's coming - very soon - NSD! Traditionally, it's celebrated the first Saturday in May. It was started by Creative Memories, but last year, they decided to rename their celebration a MEMORANZA. It still gives me a chuckle.

Anyway, the official ScrapBiz version of that is SWEET MEMORIES and we have quite a few members firing up some form of a Sweet Memories event during the month of May.

Here's the ScrapBiz Press Release for Sweet Memories. You can also listen to it by clicking the player down the left side of the page near the Sweet Memories logo.

Recent studies indicate that eating chocolate may improve memory function. Chocolate will be on hand to help scrappers preserve their memories on May 5, as ScrapBiz members across the US, Canada and Australia celebrate “National Scrapbook Day” during the 2nd Annual “Sweet Memories” Event. Plenty of chocolate and great products will be readily available on that day of scrapbooking and sweets.

“Sweet Memories” is an event created and sponsored by Seattle-based ScrapBiz (www.ScrapBiz.com), which offers independent scrapbook businesses consulting, training and support services through their scrapbook business startup guide and innovative online small business incubator.

“ScrapBiz Business members are celebrating this day in a variety of ways from crops and classes in their own communities to special deals at large-scale conventions and at their online stores,” says ScrapBiz Founder Kim Guymon. “Exclusively designed chocolate-themed products from several ScrapBiz member manufacturers will also be offered at these events. The theme for the day is chocolate and memories – it doesn’t get any better than that for scrapping chocoholics!”
