Yesterday, ScrapBiz Member, Trudi Astin, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short battle with lung cancer. We are all shocked and saddened by her death. She was such a happy, positive person who helped others freely and her presence has been and will be greatly missed.
She was diagnosed with cancer just after Christmas and told us that she would probably survive 12-18 months with treatment - but of course, hoped for a miracle. She also told me privately that since she would not feel up to opening her plant nursery this Spring, that she would be continuing to pursue her beloved Scrapbook business (Memorybook Inspirations) and wanted to stay with ScrapBiz.
Our prayers are with her family at this time. Rest in Peace, Trudi.
