So, the Crop-A-Dile is not indestructable...

I can't tell you how mad I am. It didn't even PRETEND to hold when I tried to punch through thin metal. It just snapped right off and fell on the the table. That's the hole size I use the most, too. I guess I'm back to my other hole punch option.

I took a photo so I would make myself toss it into the garbage instead of letting it clog up my scrapping desk (as if that's the only thing clogging it up!)

R*I*P Crop-A-Dile. Your bite isn't as powerful as I thought it was...

Does We R guarantee their products? That's a mighty expensive item down the drain. Is there no way to replace the broken part?

Ahh, I've had it too long. I'm sure any warranty has expired. I couldn't toss it. I'll let it hang around - there's always the bigger punch and the eyelet setting part.

Kim,
No way should this have happened. I've punched through those tins of cookies you get at Christmas time. Many times, and I wouldn't really call that thin. Maybe medium? LOL I would contact We R as that is one of the things they advertise about it is that it will punch through metal worth a shot anyway.
Of course you could always use it as an excuse to buy the new long reach one too LOL.
Peace~
