I can't tell you how mad I am. It didn't even PRETEND to hold when I tried to punch through thin metal. It just snapped right off and fell on the the table. That's the hole size I use the most, too. I guess I'm back to my other hole punch option. I took a photo so I would make myself toss it into the garbage instead of letting it clog up my scrapping desk (as if that's the only thing clogging it up!)

Does We R guarantee their products? That's a mighty expensive item down the drain. Is there no way to replace the broken part?
Ahh, I've had it too long. I'm sure any warranty has expired. I couldn't toss it. I'll let it hang around - there's always the bigger punch and the eyelet setting part.

No way should this have happened. I've punched through those tins of cookies you get at Christmas time. Many times, and I wouldn't really call that thin. Maybe medium? LOL I would contact We R as that is one of the things they advertise about it is that it will punch through metal worth a shot anyway.
Of course you could always use it as an excuse to buy the new long reach one too LOL.
